What Is SkinVive?

How SkinVive Works

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a molecule your skin makes naturally to hold onto moisture. You'll find it in plenty of serums, but serums sit on the surface. SKINVIVE by JUVÉDERM® places tiny microdroplets of modified HA into the skin of the cheeks or neck, where it attracts and holds water, improving skin smoothness and giving a hydrated, healthy-looking glow. Technically SkinVive is an HA filler, but it isn't designed to add volume or change your face shape — it improves the quality of the skin itself. You may hear it called a skin booster or hydration injection. We use it for the cheeks and neck, and it can also help soften fine lines around the mouth and lips.

  • Avoid blood thinners like aspirin, ibuprofen, and fish oil for several days, if medically appropriate

  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
  • Book at least 2 weeks before any big event

During Treatment

  • Review goals and plan with your injector
  • Numbing applied

After Treatment

  • You may notice small bumps, redness, swelling, or bruising, which usually settle within 2 weeks
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, extensive sun or heat, and alcohol for 24 hours
